The Assembly & Integration department has multi-tiered role responsibilities for the precise and efficient
assembly of products and ensuring that each product meets the highest quality standards. The role has
four levels, each with increasing responsibility and expertise.
Assembly Technician 1
-
- Assemble equipment by fastening, strapping, integrating, and wiring componentry for 1-2
product lines according to specifications and work instructions. - Read and interpret mechanical & electrical schematics to assemble components to an expected
result - Clean machinery after dough testing as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and basic machinery for product assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assemble equipment by fastening, strapping, integrating, and wiring componentry for 1-2
Assembly Technician 2
All details of “Assembly Technician 1” apply PLUS:
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assemble equipment by fastening, strapping, integrating, and wiring for 3-5 product lines with
more complexity according to specifications and work instructions. - Assist Field Service Technicians with Factory Acceptance Tests.
- Local customer site troubleshooting and repairs (if applicable)
- Assist with documenting work processes for assembly of componentry.
- Train and mentor Level 1 Technicians.
Additional Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in assembly
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents
- Strong problem Solving Skills
- Champion Safety First environment
- Should be familiar with bearing assemblies, transmission systems, structural construction, sheet metal construction, and common electrical systems
- Use various devices to troubleshoot and conduct quality checks (ie; caliper, micrometer, multimeter)
- Basic understanding of ERP systems.

What You Must Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1 year of experience in an assembly role.
- Basic understanding of assembly processes and tools.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ pounds.
- Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Employee must be able to furnish their own tools
- Use various devices to troubleshoot and conduct quality checks (ie; tape measure)
