What is the Role:

Gemini is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager, who will be responsible for the management of the Electrical Engineering Team and for the conceptualization, design, development, testing and documentation of capital projects, production equipment and services related to customer requirements. Proven experience taking a design from concept thru to manufacturing and installation is a must. Who you are:

In this role you will

  • Provide electrical engineering recommendations and technical support on electrical engineering reviews, strategic plans, and projects
  • Assist with allocation, budgeting, resource planning, and scheduling
  • Manage unit and development cost estimations and helps determine affordable and reliable material sources
  • Ensure on-time product development by collaborating with other leaders to estimate reasonable and precise schedules and solve problems quickly
  • Streamline production while meeting compliance and safety guidelines
  • Create production, quality validation, and evaluation requirements and tests and troubleshoots production dilemmas
  • Establish technical standards in reviews, documentations, and designs
  • Manage the electrical engineering teams activities, development, career planning and succession planning for the electrical engineers
  • Establish and grow a complementary partnership with mechanical and application engineering

What You Bring:

  • BSEE/BSEET
  • 7+ years of experience as the lead engineer for commercial corporate projects
  • Previous engineering management experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical Design/Drafting Tools.
  • Working knowledge of Programming Logic Controllers (PLC) (Allen-Bradley, preferred)
  • Configuring and designing HMI/OIT systems (Allen Bradley preferred)
  • Knowledge of power distribution (120V, 240/480V and 24V DC Control Systems)
  • Familiar with various Motion Controllers/Actuators/Sensors/VFD
  • Extensive knowledge of state and national codes and their applications
  • The ability to prioritize and demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

What Else Would Be Helpful:

  • Working knowledge of Solidworks
  • PE License
  • Project Management Certification
  • Custom capital equipment experience
