What is the Role:

As a welder performs various types of welding including TIG, MIG, and stick, joining materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum. As an assembler will build our products using various hand tools.

Who you are:

In this role you will

  • Using engineering prints will be welding and/or assembling components.
  • Use welding skills to determine best method of joining parts and the proper steps to produce a quality assembly.
  • Interpret engineering prints, and BOM’s, to determine proper steps and tools required to assemble a quality product.
  • Install electrical and pneumatic components on assemblies.
  • Test finished products to verify proper form, fit, and function.
  • Use all standard shop tools: saws, grinders, drills, and iron worker. Tube and sheet rolling experience is a plus.
  • Adhere to standard work, standard quality, and shop safety procedures.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.

What You Bring:

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 or more years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience / certification in welding stainless, carbon, and aluminum. Must have a thorough knowledge of TIG and MIG welding.  Must be competent in flat, vertical, and overhead welding.
  • Ability to interpret and read blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs in a non-repetitive environment.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment with competing demands. Must be able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Needs a strong appreciation of the importance of completing tasks on time, excellent attention to detail, and teamwork.
  • Must comply with all company safety and personnel policies.

What Else Would Be Helpful:

  • Familiarity with 480/240 VAC industrial power and/or 24 VDC control systems
  • Conveyor and conveyor system assembly
  • Familiarity with pneumatic components
